We teach (hobby)aviation welding
It’s what we used to do, but no more. Thanks to the jerk lawyers at the State of Oregon’s Higher Education Coordination Commission, it is impossible to continue to offer our citizens of this state the opportunity to learn how to weld. Kia Sorenson, the director, has taken action to fine ENE for not being licensed to show people how to weld in our aircraft hangar without a license from her agency. So we must discontinue the welding program. I’m deeply sorry, and encourage everybody to elect different leadership for this state before we lose all of our freedoms. I’d encourage everybody to send a quick note to the executive director of the HECC expressing your appreciation for his agency protecting your from affordable student centered educational opportunities. Eagle Nest Enterprises is an Eagle Creek, OR. company that specializes in welding for fun. Building homebuilt aircraft, and learning skills needed by our local agricultural industry is out focus. We teach classes in wire feed welding, TIG welding, and stick arc welding. Depending on student interest, students take classes just for fun, learn some new skills to fabricate and repair your broken items, or go as far as achieving the level of skill required for submitting a sample for AWS welding certification. We don’t do the sample testing since we are not an AWS test lab, but we’ll point you where to go if that’s your goal. With our open learning structure, you decide what your motivation is, and we support making it happen. We’ve had people in our program focusing on a very narrow niche interest for a few hours, to as long as two years just having fun in open lab playing on our latest projects of the week.
